A significant achievement for North West BAPS was the unveiling of the first breastfeeding mural in N.Ireland in November 2024. The Mural Project, supported by the Honourable the Irish Society and Sure Start Edenballymore, was co-ordinated by Sinead O\u2019Kane, who worked with the Peaball Artist Collective to consult and interpret feedback from local women about their experiences of breastfeeding and breastfeeding support. The Mural which has been a source of much discussion and debate, features a woman breastfeeding her child. Her breasts have been pixcelated, and North West BAPS are keen to hear people\u2019s own interpretation of the Mural. In a city, which is famous for political Murals, we hope that \u2018Nurtured\u2019 the first breastfeeding Mural in the North of Ireland will continue to be a talking
